well yes it kinda does look like a green hares ear
but they called it a green drake in the book "fly patterns of umpqua feather merchants. who am i to argue i just followed the recipe
if its a roy palm pattern he would know of the bugs in the frying pan and roaring fork

In my experience, the green drake pattern should be more grey. I like his biot pattern, its been a standard for me the past three years.

I missed the painful trudge up Golgotha, but if you got into a conflict with a motorist on the street in front of your house, would you blame the street? Cranks can get on the roads and the internet.
Harrumphing about esoterica—"Your dun isn't pale or watery enough"—is kind of what some folks do. Choose to be amused, if possible.
