Re: Clouser Swimming Nymph
Fantastic! I will definitely add some of these to my spring box. I'm already looking forward to swinging these on my tenkara rod.
Great contribution Scott.

Tied better than Mr. Clouser himself would do it. All good, but the front end is especially excellent.

Fish when you can, not when you should! Anything short of this is just a disaster.

ScottP. Howdy;
WOW factor is very high with these 2, I just sat here for a moment soaking the first photo in.
Be interesting to see what the ratio is for hits between the pair.
Size 4??? Nothing subtle when these hit the water.

Fished "jig" style, this could well pass for a damsel in distress .

Re: Clouser Swimming Nymph
Superb variation, Scott. I would be tempted to fish the new variation for warm water species (smallmouth bass and carp). I think it would work wonders on both, and the hook-point-up orientation would be perfect for slow water and clear conditions.
No way, I could tye them as nice as you have, but worth trying...

That inverted style I believe would be a nice fly for redfish on the flats down here in Florida. Most guys will just add a single piece of stiff mono back over the eyes to the hook point as a weed guard.
