A few days ago, I got my order of 7 colors of Altsuceser Luminous Embroidery Machine Thread to experiment with on flies. ;) :ugeek:

Counter Rib- SM Gold Ultra Wire
Hackle- Partridge

Many more bodies and ribs to follow!

Here is a Light Pink version tied with a Red SM Ultra Wire Rib...

I think the Orange and Pink versions may come into their own near dusk when a setting sun has predominantly red hues to light up the flies. A UV flashlight can give them a boost as well.

They're all wonderful looking patterns. I'm intrigued by the thought of a luminous primrose thread!
