I have been using similar colored patterns this Winter with great success. Midge larva, Softhackles and Emergers.
Mostly in sizes 18, but a few in size 20.
Just yesterday in a darn substantial Rocky Mountain snowstorm, the Rootbeer's did well.
If you look closely, you can see. Rootbeer lodged in a Rainbows lip.
Midge Stretch Rib is the material used to tie this pattern. In tan.
