Got to be honest, I tie a lot of these, some with variations. None look this good. Norm, you can take a staple of everyone's fly box and elevate it to art. Magic...it has to be magic.

Love your postings. Such a great way to start the day.
I do marvel at the squared off butts you create. Each appears
as if you've used a 'T' square to create the flat end and tube-like
body. Impressive.

Hank, I use a T-square on my flies, too. Usually to beat them...

I saw your post first thing this morning. Did I stop to say thanks. Nope. I headed straight to the vise, inspired to tye by your post. My renditions were buggy shadows of your's, but still inspired.
