Over the past month I have been seeking out some old spools of Pearsall's.
Well, my best mate in Australia has come good. At an auction about 20 years ago he purchased a job lot of fly tying materials. In it was about 50 spools of Pearsall's in about 20 colours, Guess what, there are lots of original yellows, purples and 6a and 6b.
Joy oh joy, now to tying.
Eat your heart out fella's
A pleasant surprise

Re: A pleasant surprise
That's funny, Philip. I never heard that saying before. I read it to my wift and she got a chuckle out of it too.
Congratulations on your treasure find.
