Speaking of the Perfectionist, about 1970, returning from the LeTort, we stopped in a shop in Silver Spring, MD.
They had taken in estate consignment lot of cane rods. Among them was a beautiful Perfectionist for $110.
Money was tight in those days and we went home and discussed it.
I was back the next Saturday, ready to buy, but alas, it was gone.
