Hi everyone.......getting here late today.........it's after 5:30 p.m., and i'm just now able to............well. Last night i went to the bathroom at like 3 a.m. or whatever it was.....then i'm standin' in front of the sink to wash my hands and i got real dizzy...........next thing i know i find myself on the floor not feelin' to good...........apparently i fainted. It was strange and i've never done that before. Today my back is KILLIN' me......so i aint been to active..........
anyway..........i did this fly last night before i went to bed...........used a blue Gamakatsu since everyone else was..... :D the dubbing is Super Bright Oyster Pearl.......tail is some kina flash.......center portion of the body is clear Larva Lace.......and the collar is Guinea from Chevron Hackle in England..... ;)

btw, thank you to everyone who is participating, in all ways.......posting pics, posting comments, and or simply enjoying the thread........your making me VERY happy. Everyone's flies are SUPER TERRIFIC........and Doug, you especially made me happy simply by participating........i can't wait to see you post a fly whenever that is. Sure like to see more flies by more members if at all possible............hint hint Bill & Jon, etc., etc., etc.........

Kars.............that thing is SICK! :D

and Kelly.....loosin' up.........you don't have to worry bout it..........don't sweat the small stuff........nobody minds if a fly has a wing...........this is about being creative...........not about followin' rules...........
Your fly above is DYNOMITE.......and you know i keep up with alllllll your streamers (LOVE IT) over at Chris' site. ;) .....click the pic.....and be VERY VERY VERY careful if you go out tonight....... 8-)

Mark, you did not go to the DOCTOR today? Well I am officially worried about you. That does not sound good at all. When I had a severe back ache, I had kidney stones. One in each kidney. I finally gave in, and went to ER. I never felt the big one, it was the small one that was killing me. Anyway, loved your last fly. Take it easy. I am not going out tonight for the first time in ages. (New Year's Eve) I'm taking my son to his friend's house, and told him he better have a ride back. I bought a nice bottle for the occasion tonight. Bartenders Kick A$$ Mudslide. :D I hardly ever drink anymore, but I was determined I was going to celebrate a little...lol.

Kelly, i've been to the hospital and various doctors more times in the last 4 months, than in my entire life before, combined. i'm SICK of it........completely sick of it. All they do, is stand around with their thumb up their a$$, scribble down some kinna stupid prescription, and charge you a ******* fortune for the privledge to have just "practiced" on YOU. Then try to hide the smile cause they know you'll be back to be charged again............frickin' quack rackateers.
Congratz on havin' done the kid right.........now, do that job right and tell him, if he can't find a ride.......to STAY put. And NOT to ride with "ANYONE" who's had even one drink....."one" prolly means three. ;)

Mark - I'm worried about you man. Did you check your blood sugar level? Maybe you had an issue brought on by diabetes. Your recent weight loss may have buggered up your blood sugar levels. Fainting could be brought on by any number of things. Best to get it checked out... (lecture over :geek: )

Frosty-cool fly. Bleep PERFECT head. Ideal use of the blue hook.

What kind of Krystal flash did you used for the tail? I love how it is both blue and red in alternating sides. Didn't know they made stuff like that. Neat stuff. That would make some interesting addition to some temple dog tube flies. I am way into temple dog style flies.

OOPS! I almost missed Kelly's fly. Kelly - That is excellent. VERY VERY creative combination. The Tenkara vibe makes me wanna give it a cool name like "Samurai Steel".

Samurai Steel is such a cool name.......YEAH! After all, THOSE cats "Knew HOW" to use the stuff................you dig?
Tkx. for the thoughts Ray-san.....never even crossed my mind it could have to do with the diabetes........ ............. Sure hope it doesn't happend when i'm headed down the Interstate at 70 mph.........
That stuff looks like KF......but i'n not sure it is..........since i'm just not into relating to materials by brand name, and because i usually pull all the stickers off stuff.........i can't really tell ya for sure what the heck it is :? ..........sorry bout that.
i realy like Temple Dog too..........sure like to get some more of it......only have a little. 8-)

FF-- thanks for elaborating...that would make a great October Caddis in my neck of the woods, though I might end up wearing it home if I tried to cast it with my normal "light trout" outfit. :)

Mark-- that's more "Electric Ladyland" than katana, I think, but a killer nonetheless. :)
