Along with my dodgy old Hardy Capt. Hamilton’s I have purchased the new Partridge Spider hooks which have a Hamilton’s bend and slightly shorter in the shank. They are great! Did I also mention they are straight eyed? Looks like I’ll be tying on these for a while.

Ive come to the amazing conclusion that there is no such thing as the "best" hook. Duh! It all depends on the "look" that appeals to you. I doubt if the fish care less. But the look for me at the moment is the Partridge Spider hooks. Nice and sharp and a appealing look to the finished fly.
