Nice additions, Johnno! I especially like the Fat Albert pattern. That darned thing has so many legs it looks like it was going to crawl off my computer screen. Fish must love them all.

This thread is amazing............glad i finally ran up on it. Ray, you really are to be commended for all the goin' beyond you do.
Mark, i use hoppers a lot in Montana in the summer time, and they work great here on the White and Northfork as well. Just bang the banks and hold on. Best to actually hit the bank and let it flop in the water off the bank.
Teriffic tying by all......... LOVE that Turk's Turantula.
Btw.....when i clicked on this, i figured i might be goin' somewhere i could see some hair hackle flies like those of Gordon MacKenzie.....if your into that sorta thing.........you NEED to get his book. Hair-Hackle Tying Techniques and Fly Patterns..........Frank Amato Publications Inc. Great book.

These flies posted on this thread are amazing. I love hopper patterns. All of them. The fish love them here. What is not to like? I do well with that Juan's Hopper too. It is probably my favorite hopper pattern, besides a smaller hopper pattern a friend of mine came up with. But all of them work. Sometimes when the fish won't bite anything else, they will fall for a hopper.

Scott - I had to smile when I clicked on your link. I'm a fan of one of your other videos. The one you labled "Not at Work" is a favorite of mine. Great music, btw.
