Semperfli silk is TRASH! Which is weird because they are a UK company and everything else they do is nice. Size wise its huge, it's fuzzy, dust comes off when you unwind it, it just feels gross and not at all silky and nice. Feels about like like drug store cotton sewing thread. I bought one spool and only use it for tying thread worms or if I need string around the house lol. The ephemera silk is quite nice. Very similar in size to Pearsal's and the colors match pretty well. Both the silk thread and silk floss are nice. The only problem is they come on wood spools which is cool...but the spools themselves are kinda crappy and snag the silk if you're not careful. Welcome to the forum and great fly!
