Ray,
This is a beautiful post and I really appreciate you doing this for everyone to see! Bill and I swapped flies for several years and I always looked forward to seeing the small boxes on our dining room table with his particular hand writing on the label! It was like Christmas! Although I don't have these really cool sets, I have many of his beautiful works in my special "Bill Box" and some on the wall of fame in my den! They are like small jewels so perfectly put together in his own unique way! Many would have to admit that watching Bill tie was akin to watching a great artist at work especially when he tied flymphs! And, like so many of you, Bill had the knack for making materials do what he wanted them to do to look so life like! His talent at the vice and behind the rod was incredible!
Again, thank you Ray for sharing these treasures! It brought back so many good memories of our good friend Bill!
