C.B., to see the results of the (19th annual i believe) Ken Sawada Grand Prix Championship, go here. http://www.kensawada.com The winning fly this year (for last year i spose), is amazing. There's a whole slew of guys in Japan can tye rediculusly well.......
Carl.....i've got a whole Pintail skin......if i can remember where i got it, or if i find another, or run into a hunter with an extra, etc., i'll do what i can for you. There are some really cool feathers on there, that if you saw them alone, you might not even guess what bird they came from. ;)

Old Hat--thanks for elaborating; what brand of glossy cement are you using? (BTW, I'm really addicted to "duck" hackle these days...been trying to scare up some mersanger and widgeon, if nothing else.)

Willowhead--thanks for the link...between the Sawada "pro store" and my Tenkara addiction, I've got to get to Japan before too long. :)

Cool Mark. If you reel it in sometime and it comes to mind, I'm sure we can swap some goodies.

For cement, I have been using a product sold by Al Beatty called aqua flex and aquatuff. I fist coat with the thicker aquaflex as it does not soak in as much then finish with a coat or two of the aquatuff. I have searched for years for good cement and have found this to be my favorite.

Here is the link. I usually just pick it up a show.

I hate it when I think I'm buying organic vegetables, and when I get home I discover they are just regular donuts.
