They both look like "hunters" Bill. Your tying is an inspiration...

Thanks Ray! But inspiration abounds here on the Forum, you only have to look in the mirror or other tyers posts!
Re: Fox 'n Hen Flymph
I really like the first one with the badger hackle but I had to cringe when I saw Fox 'n Hen.
Yours looks so much better than the carnage I occasionally find in my chicken coop.
With all the feathers and fur on the ground, I think the old rooster actually enjoyed rippin' into some fox butt.

What breed of dubbing rake are you raising?
Re: Fox 'n Hen Flymph
What is it with roosters and bad attitudes? I had one that was pure evil. My daughter named it 'Chuck Norris' because all it wanted to do was jump up and kick people in the head. I enjoyed shooting Chuck...

Same here Mike and Ray! A big belly laugh out of that one! I have a scar on my right calf from a rooster named Dwayne "The Barred Rock" Johnson. Dwayne now resides in my daughters freezer and is scheduled for a casual mingling with some noodles in the near future! I still have the scar! Lesson learned, never take your eye off these bad tempered birds!
