Both of these last two were tyed on mustad M899 hooks..... 3/0 (hers), and 5/0 (his), if i remember right. ;)
p.s. you'll have to excuse this pic.....for whatever damn reason, my wife slanted the fly back when she took the pic.....

i was very happy with this fly until the head sorta fell apart on me...........oh well........**** happens. Again, a very inexpensive bead..... :D if i remember right, (tyed bout 2 yrs. ago), i used at least 2 if not 3 feathers in the collar on this fly. Does a collar alone qualify a fly to be called a soft hackle..............hhhhhhhhhmmmmmmmmmm. ????? :P Tail is Kori Bustard. Hook is a Sprite XXL 5/0.

Now here's a KArazy example of what i might do on any given day..... i tyed this for a guy (great tyer), in Sweden. He was nice enough to send flies and fly earings for an auction that was being held at a benifit Tye-A-Thon i organized for a sick friend (back in Jan.), who needed tumor removal surgery, so i figured i'd better send him a thank you fly. :D
i did this fly on a very expensive Ron Reinhold Low Water Dee 5/0 hook.....
