Wet Fly / Soft Hackle Rod

Does anyone here use a 9' Heddon 2F bamboo rod for fishing wet flies and soft hackles? I'm considering buying 1 and would be interested in your comments.

I do. I fish the 8 1/2 foot versions more frequently (because I own several of them than and only 1 9 foot) but they make great wet fly rods. It's a good streamer rod, too. I usually fish mine with a 5 weight line, even though it's marked HDH.

I might avoid models below a #17 (Black Beauty). They may have an adequate number of guides.
