Thanks gentlemen for the comments. I really liked the holders for this. great for a dozen or so small flies.

The pattern on the bottom right is Hidy's Stone Fly. Would be a great golden stonefly pattern.

I hate it when I think I'm buying organic vegetables, and when I get home I discover they are just regular donuts.

a really nice soft hackle. Did you use a dubbing block flymph style and palmer the hackle afterwards?

When I die I want to come back as a hook in Carl's vise.

HaaHaa. That is funny.

Barry, yes I made the dubbing on a block and then just palmered the body hackle. The pattern didn't call for ribbing. For fishing, I would counterwrap the body hackle with thin gold wire.

Thanks for showing the Stonefly pattern. I want to tie some. lol I was thinking of that pattern or something similar for Perla stoneflies in the Eastern U.S. I Don't know for sure if they're still called Perla. They change names now and then. Beautifully done.
