That is a great soft hackle pattern. I will copy it and if anyone asks me about it, I will certainly give you all the credit. Thanks for posting the picture and materials. That Brown trout looks like a "fall trout" with rich, bright colors--just beautiful!

I just saw this. I've been looking for a Hendickson Soft Hackle pattern. This one is great. Those look awesome. Definitely gonna tie up some of these for next spring. Thanks for posting these John.

Good looking fly. So I have to ask. Since Golden Plover is about impossible to get does anyone know of a suitable substitute? Thanks.
