Vickie is headed for the store to pick up a few things. I asked her to get a cuticle trimmer for me. Got an odd look, so I showed her this thread. We are getting two cuticle trimmers and velcro. We do have separate tying benches.

Ray,
This tool is cool! What a clever idea especially in the Velcro end! I would imagine the other end would slice just about any thread you could throw at it! Good Job! You need to put this with the endless pantheon of really useful tools that your creative mind comes up with! I am very impressed with how practical they are!

Fish when you can, not when you should! Anything short of this is just a disaster.

Also works well for trimming the Hackle stem after winding!

Ray, I just saw that you have made more than 10000 posts. When do you sleep?
I have a suggestion for your tool. You could add a notch to it https://www.flyfishingmasters.se/sk/fut ... ackle-tool Check the video.

On another subject. That is a really cool tool holder that guy has attached to his vise. Love the magnetic scissor holder and the zap a gap holder
