Soft and wet - the only way....
Re: More stuff
our tying club in Houston made regular outings to Hobby Lobby, JoAnn's, and the Dollar Store... we alway found inexpensive subs for high dollar fly shop stuff... not suggesting we stop supporting our local fly shops...but some stuff just makes sense.

"leakers".... are you taking a shot at those who have partially functioning bladders? Tying display flies could be similar to crafting. I try to tie that well.ForumGhillie wrote: ↑Fri Mar 01, 2019 5:30 pmMaybe when I can't fly fishing or grouse hunt anymore and I am sitting in a rocker reading and drinking whiskey I will take up crafting.
Unlike some of the retired leakers on the Flymph Forum (I will not mention any names) I still work for a living and no time for crafts and spending all day posting on Social Media.

Oh my gosh guys....you are hilarious! Keep it coming!
Hobby Lobby is a favorite stop on the crafting trail of my youngest daughter Erica! It is kind of a neat place and you are right....you walk out with more treasures than you actually went in there for! Ah, effective retailing!

Fish when you can, not when you should! Anything short of this is just a disaster.

If you don't already have it, John, check out "Fishbugs" by Thomas Ames, Jr. This really is a special book IMO.

John,
Where did you order the net from? That is one of the nicest I’ve seen. I especially like the solid white viewing pad in the center. Cool idea.
I’ve been using a paint strainer bag, stretched over my fishing net.
