Do you have a name for this one William?

Post by Stendalen » Sat Feb 02, 2019 12:20 pm

Caddis soft hackle inspired by one of William's favourite flies. I've fished it since we met in Pennsylvania a few years back. Do you have a name for it William? I really love the Woodcock (Or grouse) combination with the olive and gold.

Receipt for this one: Mix of seals fur; two shades of olive seals fur and a pinch natural coloured seal (VERY IMPORTANT with the natural i think) spun on Pearsalls Pimrose silk using the spinning block made by William :P .

I really like that fly. If I was naming it , I would call it "The Catcher".

The fly kinda looks like a Grouse and Green, with a caddis vibe.

Whatever it is, it looks like an extremely effective fly.

Beautifully tyed, Martin. ;)

I have a name for it. I received one when he made me a great favour a couple of years ago. I call it William's Gold Ribbed Pet Caddis.

:o 8-)
