I created the LG Flymph (aka Olive Hare's Ear Flymph) to be an imitation for the Lesser Green Drake. It is going in with some other flies as a Christmas present for a flyfishing friend of a friend.

I see nothing "lesser" about this at all; looks like enough to be really, really good. :)

That is a a great combo and well thought out Bill. Very nicely tied as usual.
I hate it when I think I'm buying organic vegetables, and when I get home I discover they are just regular donuts.

managed to find some flavs doing their thing on the Metolius this fall...fishing with an ex-guide friend and we both hoooked fish in the big eddy on sparkle duns.

This is a terrific pattern! It looks like it would also be a very effective damsel nymph imitation, for stillwater fishing.

I definitely need a row of these in my fly box.
