Honey Dun Flymph
A little lighter cousin to a gold ribbed hare's ear.
I hate it when I think I'm buying organic vegetables, and when I get home I discover they are just regular donuts.

Spot on, Carl. That is some fine looking hackle right there.

Gracefully executed, Carl. The have the delicate slender profile of a natural mayfly. Beautifully photographed too.

Very nice. I'm starting to tie more soft hackles with tails and yours looks great. Thanks for sharing / posting.
Re: Honey Dun Flymph
Thanks guys. This is one I've used for quite a few years. I came up with it just trying to tie a light, medium and dark hare's ear flymph. Nothing special really just keeping things light and using the dun thread.
I put tails on almost all of my soft hackles that are mayfly imitations except for the spider patterns.

Very nice Carl. They are tied to your usual standard of excellence. In particular, I like the shade of honey dun that you’re using .........A true light honey dun is not the easiest to find!
Keep them coming !!
