Otto, you had an excellent day, 2 bucks in velvet, and the Brownie looks like it's smiling, almost
as if it knows it's going back in the river.
Have you ever fished below Blue Stone res. over in WVa.? Not sure what the billhillies stock there.
I remember the Res. is good for bass and such. Below the dam it was some exciting looking H2O .

I fish that area quite a bit and it is an excellent smallmouth fishery. You are correct in saying that some of that water is exciting to say the least.

Really good looking fish! They appear healthy and obviously were looking for food. Were the caddis flies you used the same as the one you posted above?

Yes, the flies were the same as pictured previously but a few of the fish took a variation of that fly and I will post a picture of it in the next day or two.
