Sources for Snowshoe Hare's Feet

He was definitely the go to guy several years ago but now he only sells seal fur.

In my limited time to search I am wondering about sources for "true" snowshoe hare's feet? I know one is hunting or find a hunter who hunts snowshoe hares, but are there any online sellers of snowshoe hare's feet?

Based on an email exchange with the folks at Spirit River, the snowshoe hare's feet that they package come from real wild snowshoe hares shot by hunters in northern Minnesota and Wisconsin. They do not sell direct to the public, but there are several of their dealers who do.

I buy mine from Alvin Theriault in Maine. He collects them from local hunters.

Alvin Theriault has a fantastic shop. A most of the capes and other feathers he sells come from birds he raises there on the farm. He also raises a number of different animals for their fur. It's a 2.5hr ride south for me but one I gladly make. His wife is into rocks and gem stones and the shop is this great eclectic mashup of fly materials and rock art.
