Hidy's Sports Illustrated Patterns
I'm currently working on tying examples of Hidy's published patterns. Today I worked on the 3 patterns from the Sports Illustrated Book of Wet Fly Fishing. The Brown Hackle, the Leisenring Spider and the Hare's Ear Fly.
I hate it when I think I'm buying organic vegetables, and when I get home I discover they are just regular donuts.

Superb specimens. The brown hackle looks like the fly shown in Mark’ FlymphForum art work above (upper left of the screen). Gorgeous fishing flies.

All superb!

You guys should see Dana’s hook collection. I was jealous when I got a glimpse of his travel set.
