Rams Scrotum wool for Tups Dubbing, it really exists!
Here is proof that Rams Scrotum Wool really exists. I had to creep into a field in the middle of the night dressed in SAS black cut throat razor in hand and shave the poor bastard when he was sleeping.
No, really I bought it from a sheep farmer who sells the fleeces. It still has to be cleaned and I have to get the other two ingredients for genuine Tups dubbing. If anyone knows the ratios of them I would be great full if you let me know
Thanks
Barry
Sorry I’ve tried to upload a photo of my wool but for some reason the software won’t let me, says the boards Quota has been reached

I don’t understand why I can’t upload pictures?
I’ve now washed some of my Rams Wool and it leaves me with some questions. The washed wool ranges in color from pure white to dark brown with yellow and lemon in between. So I ask myself why the need of lemon Spaniel fur when there’s plenty of heels wool in my clump. I’m supposing the color is urin stains. I can see the need for some light red or Tups pink in order to make the dubbing. I’m going to experiment with a little by adding some seals fur that is red or pink.

Dana, many thanks I look forward to receive it. I have a little from another generous member that is commercially wool based. It looks great however I’m just wanting to replicate the originalTheroe wrote:HOLY RAM, Barry.........it looks like you cut his balls off !!!!

I did the same vision quest - the sack hair I had had lemon as well, so I did not add spaniel. It looks close to the Austin sample posted here. And it catches fish!
