some Flumphs off the vise heading to Carl ;) Photo Heavy
I've procrastinated and procrastinated, finally pulled my finger out and snotted a few flumphs onto some irons for Carls IBF auction (sorry its taken so long m8)
I don't really tie flymphs, ironic considering I've been a member on this forum for quite a while. All my wingless wets to date have been spiders, well here's my first shot at some flymphs and second go at using my beautiful Clarks dubbing block made by our talented Will
Left to right, semperfli puresilk orange/muskrat, semperfli puresilk purple/coyote, semperfli puresilk pale olive/camel, semperfli puresilk pale olive/gray awesome possum, semperfli puresilk pale olive/cream awesome possum
semperfli puresilk pale olive/camel, few whisks of fluro green mallard flank tail and badger hen hackle, tied on a partridge #14 iron
semperfli puresilk primrose/pine squirrel, olive grizz henfiloplume shuck and grizz olive hen hackle, lashed to a partridge emerger #12 iron
semperfli puresilk orange/muskrat, few whisks of whitings grizz hen for tails and hackle, tied on a partridge #12 iron
semperfli puresilk purple/coyote

Beautiful flies, everyone of them Karsten.
I hope they bring good money for the auction.
You're looking like a pro with the pre-spun bodies. Well done.

How hard can it be?

Thanks Tim not so sure about the pro status, but they'll fish

These will really class up the auction boxes, Karsten. Imaginative designs classically tied.

Karsten,
I second what Bill said. Perfection, and beautifully photographed.

Thanks Lance,
I used a different lighting setup in this one which was a compromise but still half decent. My better half bought me a foldio which is fantastic, but just doesn't produce enough light for good macro. I improvised by using my desk lamp to help a bit. Still decent but nowhere near as good as my usual light source which is just two desk lamps with diffusers attached.
