Oh my gosh fellows!! This thread (silk) is awesome! I am sorry that I took so long to check in on it! William, I am snarffing up the info. you have shared and Ray, the bobbin modification is tops! You are fearless with metal and pliers!
Dave, the flies that you tied are super! I would not fear the bolder colors for they have their place in our material boxes (and fly boxes) and on each trout stream! Great find on these silks and I hope that Ray doesn't buy up all the spools ahead of me! I am writing down the brand name and making a trip to JoAnn's very soon!
Wow! This kind of stuff is exciting and I never tire of it! Keep it up fellows!
