Reminds me of a Wilted Spinach after a few fish have chewed on it. The tail that is. Of course, your ties look much better than an already chewed fly.
Carl, I'm not proud of it. Like I said, I waited almost 6 months to post these here....I don't even keep them in the same box with my go to flies.
But they do get to go along. I'll see if I can't recreate the conditions again this summer.

William,
I don't know why you waited so long to share these. I love them. Like Carl, they reminded me of the Wilted Spinach too.

William,
Really like these Comets. Al Ritt has a similar series of flies using opal Mirage Flash to represent trailing bubbles. Don't know whether the fish see it that way or it excites something else in their brain.

William,
I am just flabbergasted by the beauty of your work! Each one is just awesome! You know me....I am partial to the tan beauties you have shown!
Is there more goodies you can share with this class?
Doug
Fish when you can, not when you should! Anything short of this is just a disaster.

Same.
Really beautiful flies combining old and new.
The best thing is that they work!
Well done William.
How hard can it be?
