VERY nice! I am impressed by how you were able to form such a nice smooth underbody, use the ribbing and still get away with a slender thorax. Impressively "fishy" too (sincere compliment). Love it.

Since I pulled out the vinyl ribbing for the last pic, I tied up another similar fly only this time I used some flash underbody after the thread but still under the scud back and ribbing, and this time I didn't use a bead. The only other differences are, I used light olive scud back and I used peacock herl for the thorax. The head cement is still drying in this pic, but I have to do a few things so no time to wait for it to dry.

Both are excellent, but I prefer it without the bead. And the "underflash" gives it some piscatorial sex appeal.
