Last week I was playing around with a some Chadwicks 447 sub yarn and Jeff's New Zealand orange wool yarn. The first fly is a bit rough, but I like the color combination. I think it has potential.
Jeff - It is going to take me several lifetimes to use up this spool of orange wool yarn.

Ray, I like this. Yet another cool thing that can be done with wool. Been on a yarn binge too. Effect of dubbing yet more controlled.
(I'm tempted to touch a tiny bit of black dubbing onto that yarn through the thorax area.)

Nice one, Ray. I have been pulling out packets and boxes and envelopes a lot in the past couple of weeks. It's a marvel how much material we have all shared over the years. Enough to enjoy, forget, and then rediscover a few times over. The orange yarn is definitely something to revisit.
Who has that spool now? (and where's that cat?)

I have at least one spool of the orange yarn. It sits on my desk, within easy reach. I think I still have a second spool tucked away someplace.
No idea where the cat ended up...

I have a few cards of that yarn that will never get used up. Not in my lifetime.
I only remember where I saw that feline last, after that....I just don't know.

I have a couple of lifetimes of yarn skeins at home. When I mailed my swap flies today I found a way of getting rid of two of the skeins.
