Very nice tie William, but I am a bit confused.
Woodcock & Goose, yet there is no Goose in it and it is tried with Goose substitute? Why not call it a Woodcock and whatever the sub donor was?

I'm so clueless I'm thinking it's ostrich herl, depending on the size of the fly. did I miss the recipe? I need a clue. nevermind the fact that I can't find woodcock or golden plover, I NEED THE MATERIAL FOR THE BODY.........please????

Occasionally along the stream you find the odd feather that looks like it would make a nice Kite's Imperial. These also make beautiful softhackle bodies. Very similar to a pale, bluish gray goose feather.
