Small BWO Soft Hackle
Here is one of the small BWO soft hackles that I fish regularly. I'm posting this because I'm working out the photography details.
Hook: TMC 101 size #22
Tail: Few barbs of lemon Wood Duck.
Body: Mostly beaver fur.
Wing: Whiting B4 hen neck light dun color.

Looks like you are on the right track. Are you using a scanner?

Actually an iPad with a macro lens. Then lots of photo editing help from a friend in Michigan.

Dang! You shot a size 22 with an iPad? Nice!
That is a great looking fly. I'd fish that with confidence.

Wow, very nice on a small scale and well captured on the ipad.

I don't know which is more amazing...the size 22 fly or the fact that you photographed it with an iPad.
I hate it when I think I'm buying organic vegetables, and when I get home I discover they are just regular donuts.
