
Simple, buggy. Seems to share some genetic code with a Gartside Sparrow, which is not a bad thing. Maybe not quite a flymph, but a cool bug anyway so I thought I'd share.
hook - Dai Riki 280 #10
thread - Danville 6/0 brown
tail - partridge
body - peacock herl
rib - pheasant aftershaft
hackle - partridge
bead - 1/8" black
mash barb, slide on bead, start thread, wrap to bend

measure (shank length) partridge (2 feathers used here); tie in


tie in some peacock, wrap to bead; tie off/trim, return thread to bend



split thread, insert aftershaft feather, spin bobbin, moisten, stroke back while wrap to bead






tie in partridge by tip

wrap, tie off/trim, half hitch x 2, SHHAN
