Re: Partridge and Biot White Fly
If it is snowshoe rabbit dubbing, you should name this pattern "Thumper". I've got a good feeling about this fly. Nicely done Bill..

Great fly Bill!
Re: Partridge and Biot White Fly
Thanks, guys. It is snowshoe hare foot underfur in a dropped loop brush.

Here is a #14 white biot jingler for the hatch...
Re: Partridge and Biot White Fly
That is super nice, Bill. It would absolutely slay on the Firehole in June in a Size #16.

Re: Partridge and Biot White Fly
Bill,
I think it would work for the White Miller hatch we fished on the Firehole but I would like to fish it trailing both of these for test purposes...
Craig Matthews soft hackle...
and my cabin 12 IBF White Miller SH...
I think of the "jingler" as one more instar up on the Flymph "emerger" transformation before the winged adult fly.
Your white fly spider would have also been a killer in the Park.

Re: Partridge and Biot White Fly
That would make for a fantastic 3-fly cast, Bill, with the jingler as the top dropper to skitter on the surface .
