I hate it when I think I'm buying organic vegetables, and when I get home I discover they are just regular donuts.

Gee whiz! That is a beaut! I love the look of your hackle feather. It looks like a rare shade of honey dun.

It is a real nice random honey dun hen saddle I found. Creamy dun center and nice red tips.

That's a beauty, Carl.

Carl, this is a beautiful tie of the classic. The tones on this hackle really are great. Sparse and simple.

Carl, Wonderful dressing. I managed to snag a couple of Hebert Miner Honey Dun Hen necks while I was at Jim's. He had every shade of dun list you could imagine. I prefer the almost white list with honey tips for my PMD flymph

Great fly Old Hat!! 8-)

In 1987 after reading TAoTtWF&FtF I went on a 2 year hunt in NW fly shops to find the right mole to tie this pattern. Jack Dennis came through in his shop. :D

Bill - Can you elaborate on what properties you were looking for in the mole? Was it a specific color?
