Stovepipe Nymph
Not a whole lot of info on this pattern, but apparently an Oregon favorite from years past. Shares a bit of DNA with the Stayner Ducktail, although this was used more in flowing water.
hook - Mustad 9671 #6
thread - Danville 6/0 orange
underbody - non-tox .025 (optional)
tail - golden pheasant tippets
body - chenille olive
hackle - mottled hen back
wing - teal flank
Regards,
Scott

Interesting use of materials here. That Teal wing is set pretty nice Scott. Nice one.
Re: Stovepipe Nymph
That would also look really good (but be less durable) with a peacock herl body. Nice find, Scott.

I like that pattern. A lot.
I hate it when I think I'm buying organic vegetables, and when I get home I discover they are just regular donuts.
