Bill - This fly gives you an unfair advantage. I am scared to fish the same pool as you. Somehow, I think I will just be standing there hopelessly waving my rod, while you catch all the fish.

Bill, I'm sad to say I missed this one at the time. such a great version and a nice balanced tone from hackle to body. Nicely interpreted.

Toyed around last night with the GD. I put some CDL hen and a turn of CDC behind my partridge.
It's tied on a Tiemco dry fly hook 2x long. Probably needs to be a bit more robust for an Eastern Drake.

What do you guys think?

I think that's a great looking fly, Eric. Perhaps it could use just a touch more yellow in the body, but you will still fool fish with this if the Green Drakes are "on".
