I thought about this post and it's wonderful tiers and the flies tied by them yesterday at work.. I wrote down on a sticky pad some materials to play with when I got home. That's what I came up with, might give it a dunk this weekend. Looks buggy.

Hook: Daiichi 1560-12
Thread: Uni camel
Tail: Wood Duck
Rib: Dark amber wire
Body: Hare's Ear/Pine Squirrel mixed and spun on the block.
Orange silk.
Thorax: Peacock
Hackle: Plover

"Buggy" is the right word, Eric; a fine combination of proven materials in just the right proportions.
