A ginger spider. Not a classic, just one I came up with. Should do pretty well for any number of small buff colored, light yellow insects.

I like the hook, I haven't seen them very often. Nice up eye shape but a little heavier than the Mustad 94842 or the Mustad 50U.

Hook: TMC 500U #16
Thread: Griffith's 16/0, ginger
Hackle: Partridge, bleached
Body: thread
Rib: x-small copper wire

Lovely ties Carl, I especially like this one out of your recent triptych. Something about the hook and proportions, the long curved hackle is stunning. I take my hat off to you good Sir.
