I'd fish that with confidence . . . especially for white bass up the tributaries in the Spring.

It's also nice to see you giving pink and purple a chance.

The pink hues are from my poor photography skills. I am sure that was picked up on quickly by those that regularly post photos. Pink has long been a producing color for me. Purple, only in the past 6 months.

I fished these patterns this morning. The trout took them with confidence. Numbers and size of trout.

A nice selection of small aquatic buggy looking fish catchers Wayne, the type we have come to expect from your "thinking man's" vice.
Is that just under fur from the Fisher, or is it a fine guard hair fur?
How did you get your Fisher- store bought or wild gathered?

Thanks Jeff. The tail was not store bought (I have no other comment ;-) ), and I only used the underfur. Sight fishing with these patterns was very effective this morning.

Wayne,

I think I could happily fish thru a whole season with just those flies. Hmmm, now were did I put that fisher tail?

Beautiful set of flies.

Wayne, the dubbing material of the fisher looks great, especially the #16 with such a loose shag about it. I really like the complimentary tones and I'm glad you did well with the pattern. No surprise. Which did you fish most, the larger flies with the color or the more drab smaller sized? BTW, I like your photography very much, especially the group shots.

DUBBN, Howdy;

Wayne!, been awhile ... good to see you hangin' some flies up for us to see :D .
I agree with Jeff's statement that your flies are from a "thinking man's vise".
One question, ... which month do the critters in question shed their tails?

Wayne,
Very convincing and beautifully tied. Good photographs too.
Fisher cats live in our neighborhood here too, believe it or not. Very shy, with a blood-curdling scream.
Our neighbors with a small dog don't let it out by itself at night because of the fishers.
Nice to see a use for their underfur.
