Hook - Curved Caddis Hook (Size 10)
Thread - 8/0 UNI-Thread (Camel)
Abdomen Under Body - Tying Thread
Abdomen - 1/8" Wide Scud Back (Yellow) - Wrapped forward in overlapping turns
Thorax - Three strands of Peacock Herl (bleached and dyed tan) - reinforced in a thread dubbing loop
Legs/Antenna Horns - Two strands of pheasant tail fibers (pointy ends tied in as legs, and then the rest is folded back to form antenna/horns)
Hackle - Starling Hackle (Dyed Yellow)

About 3 sizes smaller..... I would fish this one locally.

Size 10? Perfect for my waters. Both patterns. Runs along the lines of a pattern I use on my local rivers.

Thanks guys. I was just playing around with some new materials. I picked up a sweet yellow-dyed starling skin and some scud back (stretchy synthetic body wrap) when I was in Roscoe. Nice to get back to the vice.

Ray, Howdy;

These 2 Horned/Antenna patterns, this and the orange one, are really interesting.
They make a great statement about your imagination and showcase your skills at the
vise. I'm truly liking this one the better of the 2 but only because it is the chewy
on the outside and carries the surprise. The Orange one just says warm and fuzzy,
Both should be very effective, with or without horns/antenna.
