Nice work Wayne. 
Has the four shades of "drab" that trout find very appealing. In my eyes, with the orange tag and curved shape, it would make a nice Caddis pattern.
Any additional weight hidden in there, or is the hook and copper wire combination enough to get it to where you want it to be.
Very different from our (NZ) style hare & Copper- but one (I feel) would work well here.

Jeff, no additional weight. Like most patterns that I use, split shot will be added to the leader to get this flie down in the trenches.

Wayne, from all the flies I've seen you connect with on your water, this ought to really be a great product. I would expect it to do the same in just about anywhere trout swim. Definitely on my water. Nice combo.

I tied this flymph version up a few weeks ago with a copper rib and thorax more in keeping with the traditional H&C nymph.

Wayne and Bill, these are nice. Very similar to something I've tied and fished for a few years around here when flies need to get down a bit. It worked well for me one afternoon in MT as well in deeper lies.
The hot spot probably has it's place as well and I really like the more nymph like profile on yours. I should give it a try.

All three of these patterns look as though they will fish well, which should be no surprise considering they were all tied by accomplished fishermen. Kudos all 'round, guys.
