Re: Caddis Pupa/Attractors
Wayne - I was going thru my old photos and came across a version I tied four years ago for a swap. I gave them all away, and don't think I ever fished them. Maybe I should tie another batch for out west.

Ray, that looks awesome. What is it with you guys (you and William) tying up such cool patterns and not fishing them?

Keep these flies coming. Great flies also Ruard, and Ray. I don't know what it is about these flies, but they really are very appealing. I have no doubt the fish feel the same.
Re: Caddis Pupa/Attractors
Nice Dubbn, did you use a B 175 for these??

Very good eye Ruard. It is nut the B 175, but the Mustad 3906 in 18 and 16. I did not think it was so noticeable.
Re: Caddis Pupa/Attractors
I think I need to learn how to tie these. Nicely done, all of you.
Re: Caddis Pupa/Attractors
Become proficient with the split thread technique. It makes tying these a snap. A little bit of practice is all it takes to get good at it.
Re: Caddis Pupa/Attractors
I tie them with the loop on the hook technique, also easy. Yesterday evening I tied them on a hook #16 B175 but that was much material on a little hook.DUBBN wrote:Become proficient with the split thread technique. It makes tying these a snap.
