Your coming along in leaps and bounds, best representation from a Kiwi tier within the last month- hands down.
Liking the colours, proportions and body taper. Tied on a barbed hook, I would add it to the arsenal.

We were out looking at tying lamps yesterday that might also be useful for photos.

This is a nice fly, I'm curious about the hook though. What led you to choose a dark hook? Color contrast?
