Just playing with some hooks and fruitbags:

Nice to see you back at the vice Ruard. Lovely flies. The last one is my favorite. I love the look of the red rib over the purple body. Cool.

Hans sent me some of the colored fruit bag strings a while back. They were fun to tye with. (Thanks Hans)

Very nice job of recycling non-biodegradable materials, Ruard. That last one could be named "Synthetic Dark Watchet" .

I am liking the 1575 Mustads myself, especially the large eye. I have tied a LOT of flies on them this year and they have worked well- apart from the fact they are a little dull on the point and require a touch up with a diamond hone to be as good as your regular B175's. I was getting a lot of "hit & miss" strikes on swung wet flies on trout here until I started honing the points.
Red onions come in a purple mesh bag here. This bag material is easily stripped into single strands and makes very nice translucent "Purple & ........" wee wets.

I really like the theme: using what's there and would be waste, otherwise.

Purple? How exotic. Blue is the raciest I've encountered, lately encasing a bag of white onions. Oranges tend to come in red enclosures; grapefruit, in yellow, so I'm overrun with those colours. The bags make functional holders of clothes pins, and being porous, maybe they'd do as a poor man's creel, too.

Hans had quite a selection of flies using fruit bags. Last year I was able to get some purple that contained garlic. That stuff was stretchy and made nice bodies and ribbing.

Your "just playing around with hooks and fruit bags" is high up there for duffers like me! You have taken the simplest of materials and made something wonderful and so useful too! Let us know how these and other patterns work in Wales when you go! As always, lots of pictures please!

Abdomen: Blue plastic strand from a bag of white onions
Thorax: Cat-hair-and-synthetics blend
Hackle: Starling, wild-harvest
