Your trial run at historic? What with the tinsel tag n all, looks very classic.
Very neat taper to the abdomen and all comes together with quite a shimmer.

Thank Jeff. The body taper and the tag/rib combo were some of the things I was playing around with this weekend. I like the silver rib over the black thread. Pretty simple little fly.

It was nice to get back to the vice again this past weekend. Between work and travel, I've been away from the vise for a while.

That (almost) monochromatic context makes the peacock shine more brightly than I've ever noticed elsewhere. The effect is along the lines of one of those digitally edited photos with only one element in colour.

Very yummy looking esp. from the fishes point of view! You have combined some of the classics in a very great looking pattern! I think we are viewing some of the worlds greatest in creations like this! Please keep us fed!
