Blue Mirage Peacock and Partridge

Here is a close up of the abdomen. I formed a dubbing loop, and included a single strand of mirage tinsel. The tinsel/herl/thread loop were all twisted together before wrapping it forward. It does not show up very well in the photo, but the abdomen twinkles a cool UV-blue color as the pattern shifts around.

Hackle – Partridge Hackle (Natural)
Abdomen – Mirage flash(UV Blue)
Thorax – Three Strands of Peacock Herl Reinforced in a loop of Mirage flash

stuff you used fro the abdomen?
