pink spider

In the first week of Juin we go to Wales. Planned to fish in the river Dee. According several websites there is a lot of Grayling in that river. I will try this fly:

Hook: hayabusha f314 no 14
Thread: sheer 14/0 claret
Body: pink antron
Thorax: peacock
Hackle: of the back of a Jay.

Now that's electric!! Grayling in Whales....you lucky fellow!! We are all interested in your June trip! As Ray mentioned, take lots of pictures! Your photo's are to die for!

That will sure get their attention Ruard. Love it. Pink can be an excellent color to use. You wound antron for the body? COOL.

That should serve you very well Ruard. Wish I had grayling to go after so I could have more reason to tie these hot colored little flies.
I hate it when I think I'm buying organic vegetables, and when I get home I discover they are just regular donuts.
